The river is much deeper now. 7 of the 8 crossings were well over my head. We used a lilo to get our packs across dry. The grass at McCallums Flat is thigh high and thick this year. We saw some kangaroos there and along the gorge. We spotted wild boars on two occasions on the northern side of the river in the gorge. The middle hump has a sketchy climb but all 5 in the party made it.
